Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NOVAS services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

NOVAS is a 3-month (90-day) Japanese coaching program. Depending on your plan, it includes weekly live Zoom coaching (1-on-1 or group) and DM support, together with full access to the NOVAS learning platform: the Compass (weekly diagnosis and a personalized curriculum), the Deck (SRS vocabulary and kanji), the Schema (48 grammar lessons), and Praxis (speaking and output practice).

3. Enrollment & Pricing

Enrollment is for one 3-month (90-day) cohort. You can choose from two plans (all prices in USD):

• Group Coaching: $897 in full, or 3 monthly installments of $369.
• 1-on-1 Coaching: $1,997 in full, or 4 monthly installments of $549.

Nothing auto-renews and there are no hidden fees. Pricing for an upcoming cohort is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.

4. 90-Day Conversation Guarantee

We stand by our method 100%. If you are not satisfied with your results, we offer a full refund under the following conditions:

• Participation: You must complete every weekly session and all assigned curriculum tasks.
• Guarantee: If, after 90 days of full participation, you still cannot hold a basic conversation in Japanese, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

5. User Conduct

Respectful behavior towards coaches and staff is mandatory. Harassment or abusive language will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including the NOVAS Compass curriculum, grammar framework, vocabulary decks, videos, and written lessons — are the intellectual property of NOVAS and are licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, record, resell, republish, or share your access or materials with anyone else. Sharing access credentials or lesson links may result in termination of service without refund.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

NOVAS provides language coaching and educational materials. Your results depend on your own participation and effort. Aside from the 90-Day Conversation Guarantee described above, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOVAS's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from them or from your use of the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located where the operator is based in Japan.
